Ingredients
For grinding:
  • Boiled and cooled water - 2 cups
  • Chilly powder - 3/4 cup
  • Fenugreek seeds(Uluva) - 2 tsp
  • Asafoetida(fried in oil and powdered)(Kayam) - 1 tbsp
  • Garlic flakes - 24 nos
  • Ginger(long slices) - 2 tsp

Instructions
  1. Grind the ingredients reqd to make a paste using the boiled water.
  2. Heat oil in a pan.
  3. When garlic is half fried, add ginger and stir for a few seconds.
  4. Add the ground paste and saute.
  5. Add the boiled water so as to get a thick gravy.
  6. When it starts to boil, briskly mix vinegar, sugar and salt.
  7. Let the gravy get thick and then remove from fire.
  8. Stir in the dried mango slices when the gravy becomes cold.
  9. Add the husked mustard and mix well.
  10. :- Store in air tight bottle.
