Drumstick Flowers-Muringapoo Thoran
Drumstick
flowers mixed with grated
coconut
and cooked in a natural style.

Muringapoo

cup
Coconut
grated
1
tbsp
Green chillies
chopped
1
tsp
Urad dal
Uzhunnu parippu
1
tsp
Mustard
1
sprig
Curry leaves
Oil
As reqd
Salt
As reqd
Instructions
Take a frying pan and pour
oil
. Heat the
oil
and splutter
mustard seeds
and add urad dal,
green chillies
and
curry leaves
.
Add grated
coconut
and saute for some time.
When the
coconut
changes to a light golden color, stir in
drumstick
flowers and add required
salt
. Mix and pour some
water
.
Cover with a lid and cook in low heat until the
water
evaporates completely.
Muringapoo thoran is ready and serve hot.
