Drumstick Leaves Stir Fry/Muringayila Thoran - Muringayila Thoran is an authentic Kerala style stir fry which is highly nutritious. It is rich in iron,protein and vitamins which goes well with rice and moru curry. The leaves are cooked with an aromatic coconut, garlic flavored mixture. Normally, Drumstick leaves have a nature of bitter taste. So this flavors of garlic and coconut, spices mixture helps to reduce the bitter taste.

Instructions
  1. Wash the muringayila/drumstick leaves under running water
  2. Grind coconut,green chilly,garlic,cumin seed and curry leaves without water into a coarse paste.
  3. Heat oil in a pan and splutter mustard seed in it.
  4. Add the cleaned and dried muringayila/drumstick leaves.
  5. Add salt and cook for a couple of minute.
  6. Add coconut mixture
  7. Combine well and cook it again for 5 minutes in low flame.
  8. Muringayila thoran/drumstick leaves stir fry is ready to serve.
