  • Chicken(1.6 kg approx when cleaned) - 2 kg
  • Onion - 250 gm
  • garlic - 50 gm
  • Ginger - 100 gm
  • green chilli - 25 gm
  • Mint & Corriander leaves - 50 gm
  • Tomato - 250 gm
  • Yogurt - 200 gm
  • Cream(optional) -
  • Chilli powder - 2 tbsp
  • Fennel powder - 3 tbsp
  • Corriander powder - 2 tbsp
  • Garam masala powder - 1 tbsp
  • Mace(a pinch) -
  • Shahjeera(optional, Black jeera) -
  • Lemon - 2 nos
  • Oil - 3 tbsp

Instructions
  1. Heat oil in a pan and fry the onions to golden brown.
  2. Grind together the ginger, garlic, chillies, mint & corriander leaves.
  3. Marinate the chicken with lemon juice,chilli powder & salt.
  4. Mix fried onion,ground paste,all the spices in yogurt.
  5. Mix the marinated chicken with the above and add salt as per taste.
  6. Add chopped tomatoes and oil with the chicken.
  7. Bake in oven @ 350 degree for 30 minutes or cook in Dum for 40-45 min in low flame.
  8. :- Dum ka Murg/Murgh is ready :- Serve hot!!!
