  • Whole milk - 6 cups
  • Half & half milk(optional) - 1/4 cup
  • Cardamom powder(Elakka) - 1 tsp
  • Cashew nuts(As reqd) -
  • Raisins(As reqd) -
  • Ghee - 3 tsp
  • Sweetened condensed milk - 1 can

Instructions
  1. Peel the carrots, cut them and pressure cook until they are soft enough to be blended.
  2. Make a paste of the cooked carrots in a blender or a mixie.
  3. :- The paste should be smooth and do not use any water to blend them.
  4. In a large vessel, boil the milk.
  5. Once its boiled, reduce the flame and add the carrot paste, half & half and the condensed milk.
  6. After 15 mins, the contents will reduce.
  7. Add the cardamom powder.
  8. Switch off the flame.
  9. Garnish with cashew nuts & raisins fried in ghee.
  10. :- Serve hot or cold.
  11. :- Tastes better when it is served cold.
