Instructions
  1. first marinate the fish cubes in a mixture of ginger-garlic pastes, lemon juice, red chilly powder and salt. Keep aside for 30 minutes.
  2. Mix together egg, gram flour, curd, salt and little water into a fine thick batter.
  3. Dip the marinated fish cubes in this batter and keep aside for 15 minutes.
  4. Deep fry the fish cubes in hot oil till golden brown in color.
  5. Heat oil in pan, splutter cumin seeds, curry leaves, cumin powder and add fish pieces and dry fry it.
  6. Easy fish/machhli amritsari, a yummy dish is ready. Serve hot by sprinkling chaat masala and decorating with lemon wedges.
