  • Rasgolla(around 20 rasgolla) - 1 can
  • Evaporated milk - 2 cans
  • Condensed milk - 1 can
  • Pistachios(sliced, Pista) -
  • Almonds(sliced, Badam) -
  • Kesar - 1/2 tsp

Instructions
  1. Take the rasmalais out of the can and drain the syrup.
  2. Immerse the malais in water so that the water will take away the sweetness.
  3. Beat the evaporated and condensed milk, sliced nuts and kesar in a grinder for 2 mins.
  4. Add the malais in the Ras.
  5. Leave for few hours before serving so that all the malais will soak in the Ras very well.
  6. :- You can referigerate it for more taste. :- Do not worry, if all the malais are gone and the ras is remaining. Pour it into kulfi moulds and freeze it and make tasty kulfi.

great recipe Liz… i think a lot of the ladies here are confused b/w rasgolla and rasmalai….thats y the comment rasmalai from rasmalai..FYI.. Rasgolla is in the sugar syrup and rasmalai is in the malai.. anyway great recipe Liz .. thankyou

FYI ladies.. this is how many ppl make ras malai.. this is much easier than making it from scratch.. but of course, those who want to make it from scartch, lots of other recipes are available in this site itself:-)

I would like to try your rasamalai recipie.
could you please email me, do i need to add sugar to it?,
and do i have to prepare evaporated milk or its available

this is to answer ur ?s. U don`t need to add extra sugar. I know we can get evaporated milk in cans in stores here in US. I guess that stands the same in any country..not sure though.
