Egg And Dry Anchovy Curry

Hard boiled eggs cooked with dry anchovies and other ingredients

Ingredients
  

  • 8 nos Poultry Eggs
  • 2 cups Dry Anchovies
  • 1 cup Tomatoes(chopped0 chopped0
  • 1 cup Onions chopped
  • 2 tsp Red chilly powder
  • Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1/2 cup Green chilly pieces
  • 250 ml Refined oil
  • 2 tsp Coriander seed powder
  • Salt As reqd

Instructions
 

  • Boil the eggs and remove shell.
  • Clean the dry anchovies. Apply ginger-garlic paste,turmeric powder, some salt and two spoons of oil and leave to marinate.
  • Take a deep bottomed pan, add oil and heat. Add onion pieces and fry until they turn brown.
  • Add the tomato pieces, green chilly pieces, red chilly powder and coriander seed powder. Fry for a couple of minutes.
  • Now add the marinated dry anchovies, boiled eggs and sufficient salt. Fry until the oil separates.
  • Add some water, mix well, place a lid on the pan and cook in medium flame until the anchovies are done well.
  • Serve hot with rice.
