Egg Biryani This Kerala Egg biryani is cooked in pressure cooker. This kerala egg biryani is very different from the regular egg biryani which was cooked and put in dhum as layered. 2 nos Eggs (boiled)2 sticks Cinnamon (Karugapatta)2 nos Cloves (Grambu)Ginger garlic paste : 2 tsp2 nos Cardamom (Elakka)3 nos Onion (thinly sliced, big)1 no Tomato1 cup Basmati rice2 cups Water2 tsp Chilly powder1 tsp Coriander powderSalt (As reqd)2 - OilCashewnuts for garnishing Heat oil in a pressure cooker.Add cinnamon, cardamom and cloves and fry for 2 mins.Add onion and saute for 7 - 10 mins.Add tomato and saute for 3 mins.Add rice and stir for 3 mins.Add boiled eggs, chilly powder, coriander powder, water and salt.Cover and cook for about 3 - 4 mins.Garnish Kerala Egg Biryani with cashew nuts.:- Serve Kerala Egg Biryani with raita.
