EggRibbon Roll Snack is a quick and easy recipe which can be made by adding few ingredients that is always there in our home. This is a very tasty and spicy tea time snack. EggRibbon Roll Snack is unique and special with thinly rolled out chappatis covering a boiled egg and spicy masala and later deep fried in hot oil. Both young and old alike love the awesome dish. With an amazing mix of textures and flavor this is one of the tastiest snacks that can be relished with a cup of hot tea. It requires just a few minutes for preparation. In a large bowl, stir together all-purpose flour and salt. Add enough water to make a soft dough that is elastic but not sticky. Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface until it is smooth. Make small balls out of it. Use a floured rolling pin to roll out the balls of dough until very thin like a chappati.
Then place 2 tbsp onion masala and a piece of boiled egg in the center and now as shown in the picture below make slits on both sides. Continue to fold it like a criss cross as shown in the picture.
Heat oil in a kadai and fry both sides until golden brown in colour. Serve the delicious snack with tomato ketchup 😋
