Egg Vantalu is a famous, easy and a simple side dish with egg in Andhra Pradesh. This is the best accompaniment with the hot boiled rice. This is spicy and tasty. The boiled eggs are cooked in a spice mixed gravy.

Instructions
  1. boil the egg and cut into two pieces
  2. finely chop the onion and tomato
  3. in a plate take cumin seed, black pepper seed, cinnamom, red chili and coriander seeds
  4. dry roast the all the masala
  5. make a paste by adding vinegar or lemon juice and water
  6. in a pan heat the oil and temper the mustard
  7. add curry leaves and chopped onion and saute it until it becomes golden brown
  8. add chopped tomato and mix well for 3 minutes.
  9. add ginger garlic paste, salt,turmeric powder and garam masala and mix well
  10. now add the paste which we prepared and mix well and allow to cook until the raw smell goes out
  11. water required water for gravy and allow to cook for 10 minutes in a medium flame
  12. mean while prepare coconut paste
  13. add the coconut paste into the gravy and allow to cook until the gravy become thick consistency
  14. now add boiled egg and turn off the flame
  15. now egg vantalu is ready. serve with rice
