  • Onion(cut in to suare pieces) - 4 nos
  • Garlic – 10 - 12 pods
  • Ginger(medium sized) - 1 piece
  • Green chillies – 3 - 4 or

  • Corn flour - 4 tbsp

Instructions
  1. Make ginger garlic paste with half of ginger and 5-6 garlic pods in a mixer grinder.
  2. Wash and drain the chicken pieces.
  3. Take the chicken pieces in a bowl and add cornflour,4 tbsp soy sauce,ginger garlic paste,salt and mix well.(dont add water to this)
  4. Set aside for half n hour.
  5. Take a small kadai and add abt 5 tbsp oil and heat.
  6. Now fry the chicken pieces(both side f every piece) in a very low flame covering the lid.
  7. :-Covering the lid helps the chicken pieces cook well.
  8. Once all the pieces are fried set aside.
  9. Heat oil in a large non-stick kadai.
  10. Add chopped onion, capsicum, ginger,garlic and green chillies and sautT well for abt 10 mins.
  11. Add 3 tbsp soy sauce,2 tbsp tomato sauce,1 tbsp chilli sauce,1/4 cup water and salt.
  12. Saute till the gravy is thick.
  13. Add the fried chicken pieces,mix well with the gravy and cover the kadai wid lid.
  14. Saute till it is very dry.
  15. Remove from flame and garnish with coriander leaves.
  16. :-Serve hot with fried rice and raita !!

This is a really good recipe.I`m a novice in cooking and this is the first time that I tried chilly chicken at home. It came out really well and was not that tedious to cook also.
