Egyptian Pulao Spicy pulao 3 cups Basmati rice2 nos Onions1 cup Tomato3 nos Eggs4 nos Cloves (Grambu)5 nos Cardamom (Elakka)1 tbsp Soya sauce1 tsp Ajinomotto1/4 cup Ghee1 tbsp Pepper powderSalt (As reqd)2 tsp Oil Soak the rice in water for about 10 min., wash it and leave it to drain.Bring a medium pot of salted water to a boil.Add cloves, cardamom and boil for sometime.Then, add the rice and cook for sometime.Drain the water off and keep it aside.Meanwhile, in a large frying pan, melt the butter/ghee with the oil over moderately low heat. Add the onions and cook stirring occasionally, until translucent, for about 5 minutes. Then, add the eggs and tomatoes into it and cook for 2 min.Add pepper powder, soya sauce and ajinomotto into this followed by rice and stir well.:- Serve hot. Others
Is this Chinese veriety or Egyptian one? Aginomoto/Soysauce are not native sauce of Egypt.
