  • Basmati rice - 3 cups
  • Onions - 2 nos
  • Tomato - 1 cup
  • Eggs - 3 nos
  • Cloves(Grambu) - 4 nos
  • Cardamom(Elakka) - 5 nos
  • Soya Sauce - 1 tbsp
  • Ajinomotto - 1 tsp
  • Ghee - 1/4 cup
  • Pepper powder - 1 tbsp
  • Salt(As reqd) -
  • Oil - 2 tsp

Instructions
  1. Soak the rice in water for about 10 min., wash it and leave it to drain.
  2. Bring a medium pot of salted water to a boil.
  3. Add cloves, cardamom and boil for sometime.
  4. Then, add the rice and cook for sometime.
  5. Drain the water off and keep it aside.
  6. Meanwhile, in a large frying pan, melt the butter/ghee with the oil over moderately low heat.
  7. Add the onions and cook stirring occasionally, until translucent, for about 5 minutes.
  8. Then, add the eggs and tomatoes into it and cook for 2 min.
  9. Add pepper powder, soya sauce and ajinomotto into this followed by rice and stir well.
  10. :- Serve hot.

Is this Chinese veriety or Egyptian one? Aginomoto/Soysauce are not native sauce of Egypt.
