Instructions
  1. For preparing the delicious stir fry, first chop elephant yam, cook it in water with red chilly powder turmeric powder and salt as required.
  2. Coarsely grind grated coconut, green chilly, cumin seeds and garlic in a mixer.
  3. Heat oil in a pan and add coconut bits in it.
  4. When it turns to golden brown in colour add curry leaves and dry red chilly. Make sure that the chilly is not burnt.
  5. Add the ground coconut masala. Stir fry in low flame for a few minutes.
  6. Add the previously cooked yam.
  7. Mix it well and cook it again for 1 minute.
  8. The delicious and nutritious stir fry is ready to serve with rice.
