Instructions
  1. Clean the chicken pieces and put them in pressure cooker along with 1/4 tsp turmeric powder and 1/4 tsp Chilli Powder.
  2. Pour water enough to the chicken.
  3. Once done,chop the chicken pieces finely.
  4. Meanwhile,heat oil in a pan and sautT the onions till they become pinkish in colour.
  5. Add chillies,ginger and garlic and sautT well.
  6. Add 1/4 tsp turmeric powder,3/4 tsp Chilli Powder and salt. :- You can add little water to sautT them well.Or else,once the chicken is cooked,you can use the left over chicken broth to sautT the onion-mix.This will add to the taste.
  7. Add the chicken to this mix and sautT well. :-You can add some more broth to sautT.
  8. Sieve the maida,salt, water and make into a fine dough.
  9. Make equal number of lemon sized balls.
  10. Flatten the balls into round shape (as done for chapathis).
  11. Keep the filling on one side of the round shaped dough and close with the other side of the round.
  12. Press the ends carefully so that it does not open while frying. :-Use a dough-cutter to give shape to the ends.
  13. Heat oil in a pan and put each pathil pieces in oil.
  14. Take it out once the colour changes to brown.
  15. :- Serve with hot tea and this will taste awesome!!!!
