Feta Salad

Feta Salad is a healthy bowl of mixture of various vegetables and feta cheese. This could be one of the best fulfilled breakfast for all of us. Feta is nothing but a variety of cheese prepared with goat's milk. The feta cheese gives this salad satisfying Greek flavor and adds the salty notes so you hardly have to add any salt to this salad. Its so refreshing and flavorful.

Ingredients
  

  • 3 nos Carrots
  • 2 cups Lettuce leaves
  • 1 cup Spinach shredded
  • 1/2 cup Cubed feta
  • 1 no Red onion
  • 4 nos Gherkins
  • 1 no Tomato
  • 1/2 cup Cubed cheddar

For Dressing:-

  • 1/2 cup Plain yoghurt/curd
  • Herbs As reqd
  • Salt As reqd

Instructions
 

  • Clean and slice carrots into thin strips in a large bowl.
  • Shred lettuce leaves into large pieces and add it to the carrots.
  • Add shredded spinach.
  • Chop red onion into thin circles and toss with above ingredients.
  • Chop tomato into cubes and add to the above.
  • Slice gherkins into long strips and add to the above.
  • Add feta and cheddar.
  • For the dressing, mix the yoghurt with herbs of your choice to flavour in a cup along with the reqd salt.
  • Drizzle the dressing over the salad and toss.
  • Chill it.
  • :- Serve as a side dish.
