Field Beans Potato Curry

this is simple and quick curry. this is very famous in tamil nadu. field beans we will called as mochai and in deep tamilian will say pidhukku paruppu. this is ver tasty and nice combo to all vegetables and even too non vegetarians also.

  • Mochakkai( field beans) - 1/2 cup
  • Potato - 2 cube
  • Shallots - 15 no
  • Tomato - 2
  • Tamarind water - 1/4 cup
  • Jeera - 1 tsp
  • Fenugreek - 1/4 tsp
  • Mustard - 1 tsp
  • Sambhar powder - 2 tbsp
  • Oil(gingelly) - 3 tbsp
  • Curry leaves - 1 string
  • Asafeotida - 1/4 tsp
  • Coconut - 1/4 cup

Instructions
  1. In pressure pan add both field beans and potato. Cook till soft
  2. Now in mixer jar add coconut, shallots, jeera, tomato and grind well
  3. In pan add oil and temper mustard, jeera, fenugreek
  4. Now add shallots and curry leaves and saute well
  5. Now add cooked vegetables, field beans and potato
  6. Now add all powder and mix well
  7. Now add tamarind water and cook till raw smell goes
  8. Now add grind paste and add little water and cook for 10 minutes and turn off.
  9. Now its ready to serve
