Ingredients
  

  • Pomfret fish / King fish : 2 medium
  • Shallots : 10 nos (chopped)
  • Green chillies : 2 nos (chopped)
  • Garlic : 6 cloves (chopped)
  • Spring onions : few (slices)
  • Soy sauce : 1 ½ tsp
  • Tomato ketchup : 2 tsp
  • Corn starch : 2 tsp
  • Salt : as reqd

For marination:

  • First grind all ingredients for masala into a smooth paste.2) Clean fish and make it long slices(as for fish fingers).
  • Marinate the fish with all ingredients of marination.
  • Deep fry it in oil and set aside.(do not break the fish pieces).5) In a kadai, add the oil. Add shallots, green chillies and garlic. Fry till light brown.
  • Add the ground masala and a little salt.
  • Fry well in slow fire. Then add soy sauce and ketchup.
  • Add spring onions and fish pieces. Saute it.
  • Now add the corn starch and thicken the gravy.10) Serve hot. Tasty fish finger masala is ready.
