  • Pomfret fish / King fish : 2 medium -
  • Shallots : 10 nos (chopped) -
  • Green chillies : 2 nos (chopped) -
  • Garlic : 6 cloves (chopped) -
  • Spring onions : few (slices) -
  • Soy sauce : 1 ½ tsp -
  • Tomato ketchup : 2 tsp -
  • Corn starch : 2 tsp -
  • Salt : as reqd -

Instructions
  1. First grind all ingredients for masala into a smooth paste.2) Clean fish and make it long slices(as for fish fingers).
  2. Marinate the fish with all ingredients of marination.
  3. Deep fry it in oil and set aside.(do not break the fish pieces).5) In a kadai, add the oil. Add shallots, green chillies and garlic. Fry till light brown.
  4. Add the ground masala and a little salt.
  5. Fry well in slow fire. Then add soy sauce and ketchup.
  6. Add spring onions and fish pieces. Saute it.
  7. Now add the corn starch and thicken the gravy.10) Serve hot. Tasty fish finger masala is ready.
