  • For preparing the tasty and nutritious Meen Fry with Coconut Mixture, first take a pan and pour 1 tsp of oil. Fry the grated coconut and dry red chillies till golden in color.
  • Grind to a smooth paste with required salt, lime juice and turmeric powder. Keep this aside.
  • Clean the fish and make gashes on both sides.
  • Fill the gashes with ground coconut paste. Keep aside for sometime for marination purpose so the coconut masala is fully absorbed in the fish pieces.
  • Take a pan and pour sufficient oil for frying. Heat the oil and fry the fish on both sides to a golden brown color. While frying take care that fishes are not too much fried so the flesh becomes hard. It has to be crispy fried.
  • The tasty fish delicacy is ready and serve hot. Serve fish with onion rings.
