For preparing the tasty and nutritious Meen Fry with Coconut Mixture, first take a pan and pour 1 tsp of oil. Fry the grated coconut and dry red chillies till golden in color.
Grind to a smooth paste with required salt, lime juice and turmeric powder. Keep this aside.
Clean the fish and make gashes on both sides.
Fill the gashes with ground coconut paste. Keep aside for sometime for marination purpose so the coconut masala is fully absorbed in the fish pieces.
Take a pan and pour sufficient oil for frying. Heat the oil and fry the fish on both sides to a golden brown color. While frying take care that fishes are not too much fried so the flesh becomes hard. It has to be crispy fried.
The tasty fish delicacy is ready and serve hot. Serve fish with onion rings.
