Instructions
  1. Mix oil and 1 tsp of salt in maida and make a dough.
  2. Heat oil in a pan or kadai.
  3. Add potatoes and half of cabbage and carrots along with 1 tsp of salt and black pepper and mix well.
  4. Leave it to cool it for some time.
  5. Shape the above mixture into 5-6 cylindrical cutlets.
  6. Make 5-6 chapathis of the dough.
  7. On one side of the chapatti, spread little tomato sauce and chilly sauce.
  8. Then put cutlet, onion and spread grated cabbage, capsicum, beetroot and carrot.
  9. Roll the chapathi and cut into 2-3 pieces.
  10. :- Serve hot with tomato and chilly sauce.

Do u think we can actually mix maida in 5tbsp of Oil…Tell us how u did it….I guess thats why my recipe failed??????

the recipe sounds good shall try it but my comment is for nisha who used 5 tbsp oil for 200 gms maida my dear your recipe failed because the oil had to be used for the dough and for frying ….

Good, but u didn`t mention how to stick the chapatis…. coz` i allways fail to do so.. however I do(egg/cornstarch), its not sticking. Pl. mention.

I rate this recipee as good coz its nutritious. Please let me know if the beetroot has to be boiled and then grated or grated raw.

The 5 tablespoon of oil is for the whole recipe including frying the vegetables and the chapathis…for the dough only 1 tasp oil should be used…
