Fresh Bombil

Chilli powder

tsp
Turmeric powder
1
tsp
Coriander powder
Salt
As reqd

Oil

Onion

Green chillies
slit lengthwise
1/2
tsp
Rice flour
1
tsp
Vinegar
2
tsp
Coriander leaves
1
cup
Water
Ginger
garlic
paste - 1 tsp
Instructions
Clean and wash the bombils. Cut into 2 - 3 pieces.
Marinate with
chilli powder
,
salt
,
turmeric powder
and
ginger
garlic
paste. Add rice flour and mix well.
Heat
oil
in a pan.
Add chopped
onion
, slit
green chillies
and saute till it turns light brown in colour.
Add
turmeric powder
and
coriander powder
. Mix well.
Add the bombil pieces.
Add 2 cups of
water
. Cover the pan and allow the fish to cook for 2 minutes.
:-Do not stir the curry else the fish will break.
When done,add vinegar. Stir very carefully.
Transfer the contents to abowl.
Garnish with coriander leaves.
