Mashed potatoes mixed with maida, salt, rolled out into round shapes and deep fried in ghee

  • For preparing fried kulchas, first add required salt to the maida flour and sift well.
  • Gradually stir in flour into the mashed potato in small quantities and blend well with your hand.
  • Do not add water to the dough.
  • Wet your hand with little warm water and knead the dough until smooth.
  • Make medium sized balls with the entire dough and roll out each ball into thick round shapes.
  • Heat sufficient ghee in a frying pan and fry the kulcha to a golden brown color.
  • Fried kulchas are ready. Serve hot and enjoy.
