  • Onion(sliced) - 1/4 cup
  • Coconut(grated) (optional) - 1/4 cup
  • Garlic pods - 3 nos
  • Red chilly - 3 nos
  • Green chilly(slit) - 2 nos
  • Turmeric powder(A pinch) -
  • Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
  • Coriander leaves(finely chopped) - 1 tsp

Instructions
  1. Roughly grind onion, garlic and red chillies. Heat oil, splutter mustard seeds, curry leaves.
  2. Add ground paste saute well.
  3. Add kadala, turmeric, salt and mix together.
  4. Add grated coconut and mix together.
  5. Garbanzo beans / kadala thoran, an easy to prepare and tasty side dish recipe with rice is ready. Garnish with coriander leaves..
