Ginger Biscuit Ginger Biscuit Jaggery (As reqd)3 cups Allpurpose flour (Maida)3/4 cup Butter1 no Egg2 tsp Soda bi carbonate2 tbsp Ginger powder1 tsp SpicesSalt (A pinch)Sugar (As reqd) Add a little water to jaggery and melt it over fire.Sieve it and make into a thick syrup measuring 1 cup.Beat the egg lightly.Add butter and stir well.Add jaggery.Sieve the maida with soda bi carbonate thrice.Sprinkle spices and salt and join in with egg mixture.Spread sugar on a paper.Make small balls with the dough mixture and shape with sugar.Flatten a little.Bake for 15 - 20 mins on moderate oven. Sorry, what can be replaced with the eggs as we dont eat eggs. Also the cracks as per the picture of the Ginger biscuits was not there & was bit hard to chew.
