  • Rice flour - 1 cup
  • Cumin seeds(Jeerakam) - 1/2 tbsp
  • Mint leaves(cut into pieces, Pudhina) - 5 -
  • Onion(cut into very small pieces, large) - 1 no
  • Green chillies - 2 -
  • Leftover rice/soaked baten rice flakes(Aval/Poha) - 3 tbsp
  • Grated coconut(optional) -
  • Salt(As reqd) -

Instructions
  1. Mix all the ingredients with water and 2 tbsp of oil in a bowl to make a dough.
  2. Keep this aside for 10 - 15 mins.
  3. Spread oil on your palm and on a banana leaf/thick plastic sheet, make ball of the dough and spread the dough like a roti.
  4. Fry this on a tava like a roti.
  5. :- Coconut chutney is a good combination or even you could have chutney powder with the rotis.
  6. :- If you wish to have crisp rotis then make holes all around the rotis with your fingers and pour 1 drop of oil in all the holes while frying.
