Instructions
  1. First clean the fish and drain well.
  2. Marinate the fish with lemon and salt and fry lightly.
  3. Heat oil in a frying pan and fry onions to a golden brown color.
  4. Add ginger-garlic paste and sautT for a minute.
  5. Stir in chilly powder, cumin powder, pepper powder, tomato puree, required salt and fry for a few seconds.
  6. Add lightly fried fish pieces and vinegar. Mix well.
  7. Pour little water and cook till you get a slightly thick gravy.
  8. In a pan, Heat little oil and deep fry shallots. Finally pour it on the gravy.
  9. Place the Goan fish vindaloo in a serving bowl and serve hot with plain rice.
