  • Sausages(chopped) - 15 -
  • Basmati rice(washed and dried on a kitchen cloth for an hour) - 2 cups
  • Water - 3 cups
  • Onions(sliced) - 2 nos
  • Tomato(finely chopped) - 2 nos
  • Green chillies(finely chopped) - 2 nos
  • Ginger(garlic paste - 2 tsp) -
  • Garam masala powder/any pulao masala - 1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Maggi cubes(small) - 2 nos
  • Salt(As reqd) -
  • Oil - 2 -
  • Fresh coriander leaves(finely chopped) -
  • Potato french fries for garnishing -

Instructions
  1. Heat oil in a pressure cooker.
  2. Add the sliced onions and fry, till they become soft and pink.
  3. Add the ginger-garlic paste and saute for a while.
  4. Add the chopped tomatoes and green chillies and cook, till oil leaves the sides of the vessel.
  5. Add garam masala/pulao masala, turmeric powder and stir for a minute or two.
  6. Add the chopped sausages and fry well.
  7. :- The mixture will get quite oily.
  8. Add rice and salt, if required.
  9. Stir the rice for 5 mins, till it is fully coated with the masala.
  10. :- See that the rice does not break.
  11. Add 3 cups of water and crumbled Maggi cubes.
  12. Cover and cook on high flame.
  13. Once the steam is let out, cook on low flame for 5 mins.
  14. Garnish with French fries and chopped coriander leaves.
