Godhambhu Palchoru An excellent dish for Ramzan 1 cup Wheat (remove the skin)½ cup Bengal gram (Kadalaparippu)2 cups Thick coconut milk4 cups SugarSalt (As reqd)10 – Cardamom (Elakka)50 gm Raisins (Onakkamunthiri)50 gm Cashewnuts100 gm Ghee Pressure cook the wheat, till done.Pressure cook the dhal in another pan, till done.Place the cooked wheat and cooked dhal in a big vessel on a low flame.Add coconut milk, sugar, powdered cardamom and salt. Stir continuously.When it starts to reduce or thicken and gets a consistency of a payasam, remove from flame.:- Check sweetness and add as reqd.Garnish with fried cashews and raisins. Kerala
