  • Beef(chopped in small pieces) - 500 g
  • Onions(cut in round) - 200 g
  • All purpose flour(Maida) - 4 tsp
  • Egg(beaten) - 1 no
  • Wine - 4 tsp

  • Parsley - 4 tbsp
  • Bread crumbs(As reqd) -
  • Tomatoes - 200 g
  • Potatoes(cut in rounds) - 600 g

Instructions
  1. For preparing Greek mow saaka, melt 150g of butter in a pan. Fry beef, onions, parsley and tomatoes in it.
  2. Add salt and chilly powder to it. Fry for a few minutes. Remove it from the flame once it is done.
  3. Apply oil on a cake tin and keep it aside.
  4. Put the cut potatoes first at the bottom of the cake tin.
  5. Add the beef mixture as the 2nd layer on top of the first.
  6. Then add the cut potato again as the 3rd layer and continue this.
  7. Put the potatoes at the top layer. Pour wine on top of it.
  8. Melt 50g butter in another non stick pan and fry flour in it. (See not to change the color of the flour).
  9. Then add milk and water. Boil it and take it out from the flame.
  10. Mixed egg, cheese, salt and chilly powder to the above mixture. Stir it well.
  11. Pour it into the tin with beef and potato.
  12. Sprinkle bread crumbs and butter on top of it.
  13. Bake it in the oven at 250 degrees for 1 hour till it becomes brown on the top.
  14. Greek mow saaka is ready. Serve it by cutting it in desired shapes.
