  • Chicken - 1/2 kg
  • Onion(chopped length wise, medium) - 4 nos
  • Tomato(chopped) - 2 nos
  • Green chillies - 7 nos
  • Coriander leaves - 1 bunch
  • Mint leaves(Pudhina) - 1 bunch
  • Ginger(garlic paste - 2 tbsp) -
  • Basmati rice - 2 glass
  • Ghee(tea spoon) - 4 small
  • Pandant leaf(Pacha biriyani leaf) - 1 kattu)
  • Vegetable oil - 2 -

Instructions
  1. Heat ghee in a pan.
  2. Add rice and fry it for 3 mins. Keep aside.
  3. Grind together green chillies, coriander leaves and mint leaves to a fine paste.
  4. Heat oil in the pan.
  5. Add cardamom, cloves, feenel seeds and onion and fry for a few mins.
  6. Add tomato and stir it for 5 mins.
  7. Add the ginger-garlic paste followed by the ground paste.
  8. Add the chicken and pour 1 glass of water, salt and pandant leaf.
  9. Cover and cook for 5 mins on a medium heat.
  10. Heat up a cooker.
  11. Pour the above masala followed by rice and 2 glass of water into it.
  12. Close the cooker and cook it like your ordinary rice.
