Make a paste of coriander leaves and red chilly powder in a blender using water.
Add this paste to the onions-spices mixture and fry for a couple of minutes.
Add chopped tomatoes & salt to the mixture and cook on high heat for 3-4 minutes (till tomatoes are kind of mushy).
Add chicken pieces and a glass of water and bring to boil (takes about a minute or two).
When it starts to boil, lower the flame and allow it to cook for about 40 minutes. Stir occasionally. When the gravy is thick, remove Green Chicken curry from fire.
:- Serve Green Chicken hot with parathas or plain rice.
Hi..this seems to be a good one..
But I try different style which i think is better..dunno abt ur taste..Put chicken n GingerGarlic paste n some salt in pressure cooker ..One whistle on Low heat n then follow the procedure..u dont need to add water this way..n also if u use Green Chillies..in stead of red..gives restaurant style taste..takes just a few mintues…
This is an excellent curry. I used green chillies instead of red chilli powder. The curry is really tasty and everyone should really try it out.
