Instructions
  1. For preparing green gram fry, first soak green gram in water for few minutes.
  2. Grind the green gram to fine paste(like idly batter) with required water and salt.
  3. Take a idly steamer and pour the batter in it. Steam for 10 minutes.
  4. Take out from the steamer when it is done. Cut into square pieces and keep aside.
  5. Cut onion roughly, and grind it with chilly powder in mixer.
  6. Meanwhile, heat oil in a pan, splutter mustard seeds. Add curry leaves.
  7. Add the ground paste of onion and saute for few minutes.
  8. Now add the steamed green gram pieces and mix well.
  9. Green gram fry, a tasty snack time dish is ready.
  10. Serve hot with tea or coffee.
