Green Gram Pongal

Green gram pongal is an very interesting dish , made very quickly . This could be made either with raw rice or a cooked one too. The rice is soaked for 1/2 an hour along with dal and cooked soft . The aromatic spices with ginger are added to the rice after sauteing it in ghee.

Instructions
  1. cook rice and green gram together.
  2. in ghee saute jeera pepper, ginger, red chilli, curry leafs and mix with rice.
  3. serve hot with chutney or sambhar.
