Green Gram Rice

Green gram rice is a special lunch box recipe for kids . This is highly nutritive and very delicious.The rice and green gram is soaked together for 1/2 an hour . Then in a pressure pan the shallots and tomatoes are sauteed with jeera , to this the rice and dal is added and cooked. Green gram rice is made so simple and quick.

  • ghee 2 tbsp -

Instructions
  1. soak rice and green gram for 1/2 hr
  2. in pressure cooker saute mustard,jeera, red chilli, tomato , green chili , curry leaf
  3. add water salt and ghee to it.
  4. when water boils add the soaked rice and dal to it.
  5. allow a whistle and serve.
