  • Fish(cut into medium sized pieces, preferably Seer fish/Nei meen) - 250 g
  • Shallots(sliced, Kunjulli) - 1/4 cup
  • Tomatoes(chopped) - 1/4 cup
  • garlic(ground) - 1/2 tsp
  • Black Pepper Powder - 1 tsp
  • Green pepper(crushed, fresh) - 1 tsp
  • Green chilly(chopped) - 1 no
  • Chilly sauce - 1/2 tsp
  • Ajino moto(A pinch) -
  • Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
  • Cornflour - 1/2 tsp
  • Curry leaves(Few) -
  • Water - 1/4 cup
  • Coconut oil(As reqd) -

Instructions
  1. For preparing green pepper fish fry, first marinate the fish pieces with black pepper powder, turmeric powder, ground garlic and required salt. Keep the marinated fish for 10 minutes.
  2. Heat oil in a pan and fry the marinated fish pieces to a golden brown color. Remove the fishes from oil.
  3. In the same oil, fry sliced shallots and then add chopped tomatoes, green chilly and saute for a while.
  4. Add crushed green pepper, ajino moto, chilly sauce and saute.
  5. Meanwhile, add 1/4 cup water to cornflour and add the mixture to the curry.
  6. Allow green pepper fish curry to boil and add fried fish pieces, curry leaves and required salt. Simmer in low heat for a few seconds and remove from fire.
  7. Green pepper fish curry, a spicy nutritious dish is ready.
