Dice the onion and bell peppers into the smallest pieces possible using the knife. The idea is to have the smaller pieces cook quicker and absorb the flavors.
Heat a cooking utensil of your choice and add the oil into it.
Once the oil has warmed up, add the chilly powder and turmeric into the pan and swirl it around so that powder blends into the oil and starts turning brick red to light brown.
Add the diced onions and bell peppers. Turn heat to medium high. Stir them till onions are translucent and the bell peppers have a pale green color.
Add the garlic and stir for about 2 minutes on medium heat.
Add the ground turkey and mix it into the sauteed onion and bell peppers.
Keep stirring the ground turkey till you see no more pink any where. You will notice some water accumulating towards the bottom of the dish but that is normal. Stir the turkey around a little more to reduce the water at the bottom.
Turn off the heat and let it sit on the stove for a few minutes.
You may use this preparation in a wrap, sandwich, or make a meat pulao
