Everyone loves jamun and mixed the western pastry style .. I made this cake to balance the sweetness and pastry idea it came out beautiful

  • Milk powder - 1 tsp
  • Water -
  • Sponge cake or plain cake -
  • Cream -

  • Sugar for syrup (according to packet mixture) -

  • Saffron(A few strands) -
  • Almonds -
  • Nuts -
  • Raisins and Cherry - 1/2 cup

Instructions
  1. To make Gulab Jamun:- 1)Put 200 gm of mixture in a bowl and put one tsp of milk powder.
  2. Sieve the mixture so it mixes up well.
  3. Pour water slowly and make a dough.
  4. Leave it for 5 mins only in room temperature and make small balls(possibly amla size).
  5. Pour oil in the pan and once the oil is heat, start frying the balls (bring to color as chocolate brown not black). Keep it aside.
  6. To make syrup:- 1)Pour 400 gm of sugar and 400 ml of water and one tsp of rose water to the syrup.
  7. Bring to boil for 15 mins.
  8. Leave it for 1 min and pour the syrup over the fried balls.
  9. Close the lid of the container tightly and leave it for upto 8-10 mins in room temperature.
  10. For Cake:- 1)Cut the cake vertically into three portions.
  11. On one layer, place the jamun in a circle shape and pour cream (whip it for 5 mins before pouring over the cake).
  12. Add one tsp of syrup over the cream.
  13. Place the second piece of cake.
  14. Arrange the layer with almond, nuts and cherry.
  15. Place the third layer.
  16. Cover the cake with cream and drizzle with rose syrup over the cake.
  17. Over the edges, pour the cream and finish it with raisins.
  18. :- Decoration of cake depends on your imagination.
