I prepare it the same way too. However I sprinkle the salt in the pan after I have added the oil/butter. This prevents the egg from sticking to the pan besides giving the egg its taste.

I ALSO USE TO MAKE EGG FRY BEFORE BUT YOUR IDEA OF ADDING BUTTER IS SUPERB WHICH ADDS TO ITS TASTE AND MAKES IT MOUTH WATERING .
