  • Mustard - 1 tsp
  • Onion - 1
  • Salt(to taste) -
  • Grated Coconut - 1/2 cup
  • Chili powder - 1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
  • Red chili - 4

Instructions
  1. Heat oil in a kadai and add mustard,when it splutters add toor dal and red chili saute for a minute
  2. Add thandu keerai to this kadai and saute for 2 minutes.
  3. Add grated coconut to this.
  4. Add chili powder and turmeric powder saute for 2 minutes .Now Thandu keerai poriyal is ready.
  5. Thia thandu keerai poriyal goes well with chapati and rice.
