Falafel is a Middle Eastern snack that is basically mashed chickpeas with herbs and seasonings formed into patties and fried. It’s a traditional snack in Lebanon served plain with tahini sauce, hummus, or garlic sauce for dipping, or as a falafel sandwich or falafel wrap.

  • Soak the chickpeas over night ,drain it and cook it until done.
  • Mash the cooked chickpeas. Add all the other ingredients and mix well in a bowl.
  • Form into small sized balls or patties.
  • Heat oil in a pan,deep fry each balls and turn over the other side until brown colour.
  • Tasty Felafel.is ready. Serve hot with pita bread or as a snack with some sauce.
