Honey Balls

Maida flour is mixed with yeast and finally scoops of batter are fried to a golden brown color to prepare honey balls, a favorite with kids.

Instructions
  1. Mix flour with salt in another bowl and stir in dissolved yeast. Mix well to form a thick mixture.
  2. Cover and keep flour mixture aside for an hour.
  3. Heat oil in a hard bottomed pan and pour scoops of batter into it.
  4. Fry till they puff up and turn golden brown in color.
  5. Arrange the fried balls in a serving plate. When slightly cold, pour honey over the balls and decorate with sugar and cardamom.
  6. Honey balls, a yummy favorite with kids is ready.
