Hunan Style Chicken A simple chinese dish Chicken breasts (boneless, skinless, cubed)1 no Onion (cubed, big)1 no Bell peppers (cubed, Red or Green)1 no Carrot (peeled and cubed)2 tbsp Bamboo shoots1 tbsp Water chestnuts (optional)1 tsp Turmeric powder2 tsp Soya sauce2 - Red chillie flakes5 - Garlic pods1 tbsp Olive oil or Vegetable oilSalt (As reqd)Sugar (As reqd) Heat oil in a pan/wok. 2)Add chicken cubes, salt and little turmeric powder. When the chicken is cooked, take it out and keep it aside. In the same hot pan, add in the remaining oil.Add red chillie flakes and garlic. :- Let the gas be on high flame. But see to that the ingredients don¦t get burnt. Add onions, bell peppers, carrots, bamboo shoots and water chestnuts.Add salt and turmeric powder. When the vegges start to cook, add the chicken pieces, soya sauce and sugar. Stir fry it on high flame. :- The veggis have to be crisp and not over cooked.
