Onion

Bell peppers
cubed, Red or Green

Carrot
peeled and cubed

Bamboo shoots
1
tbsp
Water
chestnuts
optional
1
tsp
Turmeric powder
2
tsp
Soya sauce
2
-
Red chillie flakes

-
Garlic
pods
1
tbsp
Olive
oil
or Vegetable
oil
Salt
As reqd
Sugar
As reqd
Instructions
Heat
oil
in a pan/wok. 2)Add chicken cubes,
salt
and little
turmeric powder
.
When the chicken is cooked, take it out and keep it aside.
In the same hot pan, add in the remaining
oil
.
Add red chillie flakes and
garlic
.
:- Let the gas be on high flame. But see to that the ingredients don¦t get burnt.
Add onions, bell peppers, carrots, bamboo shoots and
water
chestnuts.
Add
salt
and
turmeric powder
.
When the vegges start to cook, add the chicken pieces, soya sauce and
sugar
.
Stir fry it on high flame.
:- The veggis have to be crisp and not over cooked.
Remove from the stove.
:- Serve piping hot with white rice or fried rice.
