Idichakka Thoran/Tender jack fruit stir fry is one such popular dish in kerala.It os a very simple recipe,jack fruit is cooked,then shredded and stir fried with coconut,some spices and served along with steamed rice.

Ingredients

1 small Idichakka
1 cup Coconut
1 clove Garlic
2 tsp Cumin seed
3 Green chilly
1/2. tsp Red chilly powder
1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
1/2 tsp Mustard
4 Dry red chilly
Curry leaves little
Salt as required
2 tbsp Oil
1/2 cup Water

Instructions

Pressure cook the jack fruit with red chilly powder,turmeric powder,salt and water for 2 whistles
Mash the cooked jack fruit.
Grind these ingredients for 3 seconds.
Heat oil in a kadai,splutter mustard seed and add dry red chilly
Add cooked jack fruit
Add grinded coconut
Mix well and cook for 2 minutes
