  • Uzhutamparuppu(use the same cup for measure rice and Urad dal, urad dal) - 2 cups

Instructions
  1. Soak the rice, urad dal and fenugreek in water for at least 8 hours in seperate vessels.
  2. Then first grind Fenugreek, then when it is nicely grind add washed urad dal and grind till it comes to fine stage. :- When you are grinding the above things add water little by little so that you can get a thick batter.
  3. Then grind the washed rice and make the rice batter. :- Do not grind the rice finely.
  4. Mix the final paste of urad dal and fenugreek to rice batter and add salt and grind it for 2 minutes .
  5. Remove the batter from the grinder and leave it for 6 hours.
  6. :- The Idli and Dosai batter is ready!! :- You can easily make soft and yummy idlis with this batter!!!
