Left over idly
split coarsely by hand into small tiny pieces

Onion
chopped, small

tsp
Mustard seeds
1
pinch
Turmeric powder
1
pinch
Red chilly powder
3
nos
Red dry chilly
split into half
1
tsp
Black gram
Uzhunnuparippu
Curry leaves
Salt
As reqd
Oil
As reqd
Instructions
Heat pan and add
oil
.
Add mustard, red chilly and
curry leaves
.
Add
black gram
and fry.
Add chopped onions and fry well.
When onions are fried, add chilly powder and
turmeric powder
and fry well.
Add idly and sprinkle
salt
.
Cook on low flame for 5 mins.
:- Serve hot.
:- Kids will love it for an evening snack or morning breakfast. Left over idly can be kept in fridge and can be used like this instead of wasting.
