  • Cucumber(peeled) - 1 no
  • Carrot(peeled) - 1 no
  • Onion(peeled and sliced thinly) - 1 no
  • Bean sprouts(a handful) -
  • White cabbage(finely shredded) - 1 cup
  • Chinese cabbage(finely shredded) - 1 cup
  • Dressing -
  • White vinegar - 1/4 cup
  • Bird’s eye chilli(seeded and sliced, thai chilly ) - 2 nos
  • Dry red chilly(pounded) - 1 no
  • Sugar(dissolved in 2 tbsp water) - 2 tsp
  • Salt(to taste) -
  • Garnishing -
  • Peanuts roasted / almonds(chopped roughly) - 2 tbsp
  • Cilantro / lettuce(shredded) - 1/2 cup

Instructions
  1. Slice the cucumber and carrot length wise and combine it with onion, bean sprouts and cabbages shredded.
  2. In a deep bowl combine the ingredients for dressing and adjust the seasoning.
  3. Toss all the salad vegetables along with the dressing, let it chill in the refrigerator overnight for the flavours to blend.
  4. Garnish it with roasted peanuts and shredded lettuce or cilantro.
  5. :- Serve the Indonesian salad on a platter!! :- Enjoy the Indonesian Salad!!
