  • Maida : 1/2 cup -
  • red chili powder 1/2 tbsp -
  • Turmeric Powder: 1 tsp -
  • Salt to taste -
  • cumin seed 1 tsp -
  • asafoetida 1/2 tsp -
  • Butter 1 tbsp -
  • curd 1/2 tbps -
  • Water as required -
  • Oil to fry -

Instructions
  1. In a bowl add idli rice flour, maida, salt, red chili powder, turmeric powder, cumin seed, asafoetida and butter mix it
  2. add curd and mix it
  3. add required water and mix well
  4. make a fine and soft dough
  5. Take a murukku mould, apply oil and stuff the dough
  6. Press it and make a shape
  7. Heat the oil and deep fry it until it get golden brown
  8. Now instant murukku is ready to serve
