Instant Oats Dosa | Diet Dosa

A

Instant Oats Dosa is an excellent and perfect alternative for those who are tired of the regular dosa regime. The best thing about the dish is that it takes very little time for preparation of batter. Traditional rice dosas require grinding, fermentation and that consumes much of your precious time. Normal dosas require fermentation for up to 7-8 hours and that’s why I termed this an ‘instant’ dosa. The next thing I like about Instant Oats Dosa is the inclusion of semolina and rice flour that doubles the nutritional aspect. These rolled out crepes are tasty and very wholesome too and you can accompany the dish with chutney or any spicy gravy dish. Diet Dosa makes for a great and healthy breakfast or a light and comfortable dinner. While preparing the batter, make it smooth and runny. Make sure it does not become too watery. The batter is poured on a hot tawa and spread out perfectly so that it cooks up into a thin, lacey and crisp crepe.

Instant Oats Dosa is quite tasty and addictive too but it takes little more time to cook compared to regular rice dosas. Cook in slow to medium heat and make sure that both sides are cooked well. My kid loves the Instant Oats Dosa combination and I am happy he is relishing something great. I can prepare it fast on school days and my kids consume it with honey. This is a complete and filling meal that provides required energy for my kids and family. Oats are loaded with Vitamin E, zinc and B complex. Oats help in healthy functioning of brain too. Diet Dosa is an innovative dish and beneficial for those who count on calories. You can explore a well detailed Instant Dosa recipe here.
