  • Potato(medium) - 2 nos
  • Onion - 2 nos
  • Green chillies - 6 -
  • Ginger - 2" piece
  • Tomato(optional) - 1/2 of
  • Grated Coconut - 3 cups
  • Water - 1/2 cup
  • Curry leaves - 2 sprigs
  • Coconut oil - 3 tsp
  • Coriander leaves(A small sprig) -
  • Salt(As reqd) -

  • Water - 1/2 cup
  • Curry leaves - 2 sprigs
  • Coconut oil - 3 tsp
  • Coriander leaves(A small sprig) -

Instructions
  1. Remove the skin of potato and slice into squares.
  2. Slice the onion into thin sections.
  3. Slit the green chillies lengthwise.
  4. :- Depending on hotness required, u can increase / decrease no. of chillies.
  5. Slice the ginger into thin sections.
  6. :- You can add half of a tomato sliced for tanginess, if u like.
  7. Pressure cook the above ingredients with salt and just sufficient water or second milk extract of coconut.
  8. Meanwhile, extract coconut milk from the grated coconut.
  9. After opening the lid of the cooker, add the coconut milk.
  10. :- The milk should have sufficient thickness as the gravy should not be too watery.
  11. :- Don`t allow this to boil.
  12. Simmer for 2 minutes on low flame.
  13. Switch off the stove.
  14. Season it with coconut oil, curry leaves and coriander leaves.
