Instructions
  1. For preparing Italian style rice, heat ghee in a pan and fry the onions lightly.
  2. Add the rice, beans and carrot. Allow it to cook for 3 minutes.
  3. Add 1 cup water, tomato puree, sugar, salt and cook for another 30 minutes.
  4. When the rice is almost cooked, add half the cheese and cook covered for a few minutes.
  5. Italian style rice is ready. Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top and serve hot.
